Voiceover Class

Welcome to finding your voice... a course designed to help you find your voice and use it to work in the voice over industry. Classes are one-on-one, an hour and half, one day a week for 6 weeks. The tuition is $450. Classes are private and arranged around your schedule. Your instructor is Corey Carthew, a working professional from New York with over 10 years experience. The course is largely built around developing your voice as an announcer for television and radio commercials, although you will read promos and documentaries. The course ends with a visit from an agent or casting director.

Tip o' the Month

Here at Tip o' the Month you will receive tips and suggestions to further enhance your progress as a voice over artist.

The tip o' the month is a homework assignment:

Watch tv and listen to radio for commercials -- don't watch or listen to the programming.! Leave the room or your car until the commercials come on. Then return and pay attention. Listen to who is working and come up with reasons why. Soon as you say, "I could do that," write the spot down. If it passes too quickly you can find most commercials on youtube. What you are looking for are those spots that resonate with you. Bring your spots to class and we'll work on them. Now get listening!
